Maximize Your Wardrobe: Off the Shoulder Tops
I am starting this new series on the blog. For the next few months I plan to feature a series on ways to maximize your wardrobe and get the most out of it. I love shopping, but lately I’ve been trying to think of ways to wear the clothing that is already in my closet and truly use my wardrobe. I am a sucker for always wanting a new outfit, but sometimes you have to work with what you got. Believe it or not, some of those old clothing may still be on trend and even if they are not, who cares! Being classic never goes out of style and neither should you feel you are anyway.
Off the shoulder /cold shoulder tops are one wardrobe piece that you may not see as versatile but some of them are. Because of how some are made you can wear this top two ways. This brings me to the main point of this post and series. When you buy anything think of more than one way you can wear it! This is how you multiply and maximize your wardrobe into a few new outfit ideas! Check out below some ways I’ve maximized my wardrobe and created two outfits with this cold shoulder/off the shoulder top.
Outfit 1: Off The Shoulder/Cold Shoulder
Outfit 2: Flowy Cami Top (same top!)
Choose off the shoulder tops that are wide and more flowy in the arm area, so you have space to fit your arm through and create a new look
Be careful to watch for the right size of the top depending on the brand you have.
Layering your top with a light cardigan or blazer can also work well if you want to make your outfit more dressy depending on the occasion.
